Amata Power (Bangpakong) Combined Cycle Power Plant is
AMATA POWER LIMITED's second power plant in the Amata
Nakorn Industrial Estate. The planned construction of
this project consists of two separate phases. The
first, a combined cycle power plant with a generating
capacity of 114 MW, was completed and began operation
in October 2001. Of the total production, 90 MW is
dispatched to the Electricity Generating Authority of
Thailand (EGAT) under that Small Power Producer (SPP)
Program. The remaining energy is sold to industrial
users in the estate.
"Amata Power (Bangpakong) Limited" has changed the
company name to "Amata B.Grimm Power 2 Limited" from
June 2008

On 7th March 2003, His Excellency
Privy Councilor Air Vice Marshal Kamthon Sindhvananda

Power (Bangpakong) Power Plant.
